AMEDD museum

Yesterday we went to the Amedd museum and learned about the history of medicine in the military. It was quite interesting even though I had been there last year. I learned quite a bit about the history of nursing as well. We had a few classes as well, learned about branches of the army and equipment used by the army. Those weren't as interesting...

Things I learned:
About 70% of all vaccinations were created by the military first then transferred to civilians.
George Washington was the first one to practice preventative medicine by vaccinating his troops for small pox.
